J&K Bank wins in 27th Annual Championship in Football 2019-20

JAMMU, Feb 22: J&K Bank XI won the 27th Annual Championship in Football 2019-20 by defeating JKPDC XI in a one sided match with a margin of 6-1 goals in the final match played at GGM Sc College, Jammu Grounds.
The J&K Bank was leading by 4-0 goals in the first half of the match . Aqib scored the hattrick while the fourth goal was scored by Prem on Direct hit.
The Tournament was organized by J&K Football Association and Sponsored by J&K State Sports Council & Footballs Sponsored by VECTOR.
Earlier, Advisor to Lt Governor Farooq Khan was introduced with the players of the both the teams. He was accompanied by Sarmad Hafiz Commissioner/ Secretary Youth Services and Sports , govt of J&K, Secretary , Sports Council Dr Naseem Javed Choudhary, Director General Youth Services and Sports Saleem Ul Rehman, Raj Daluja.
Around 46 teams from different districts and Clubs of J&K were taking part in the competition which was played at two different venues Mini Stadium Parade and GGM Science College grounds.
Later, Raj Daluja distributed the prizes among the winning and runners up teams of the tournament.
Those who president J&K Football Association Zamir Thakur, SS Bunty, treasurer, JKFA, Narinder Singh, Mohan Lal, Ex MLC SM Gill, Yousuf Don and others office bearers of the Association.
