Closing ceremony of "Sports Week" held at Govt. ITI Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 5: Govt. Industrial Training Institute Jammu under Directorate of Skill Development Department in association with NSTI (Women) Jammu under RDSDE JK (UT) organized an event for closing ceremony of "Sports Week" (31-10-2022 to 05-11-2022) on 05-11-2022 (Saturday) at Govt. ITI Jammu.
The event started with National Anthem and after that the Chief Guests of this occasion Sh S. Santhimanalan (ISDS) - Regional Director, RDSDE JK (UT) and Sh. Sudershan Kumar (JKAS)- Director Skill Development JK(UT) interacted with Cricket and volleyball teams of NSTI (Women) Jammu , ITI Jammu, ITI Hiranagar, ITI RS Pura , ITI Samba and Women ITI Jammu. Joint Director, SDD Jammu- Jb. Khan Farooq and Principal (Sr. Scale) Govt. ITI Jammu/ Dy. Director SDD - Er. Rajendra Kumar were also present to grace the occasion. Principal- Sh. V. K. Saksena NSTI (Women) Jammu and Principal ITI Hiranagar- Sh Anoop Sharma along with officials/Staff from ITI Jammu, ITI Hiranagar, ITI RS Pura, ITI Samba and Women ITI Jammu were also present.
Sh. Sudershan Kumar (JKAS) - Director Skill Development JK (UT) congratulated Govt. ITI Jammu and NSTI (W) Jammu for organizing such graceful Sports Week. Special Cricket match between Faculty of ITI Jammu and Faculty of ITI Hiranagar and Samba were also organized where Sh. Sudershan Kumar (JKAS), Director, Skill Development Department J&K lead the team of ITI Jammu as Capitan along with Vice Capitan- Er. Rajesh Banotra- Vice Principal Govt. ITI Jammu where Faculty Team of Govt. ITI Jammu won the match and Er. Rajesh Banotra- Vice Principal Govt. ITI Jammu was the Man of the Match.
Sh S. Santhimanalan (ISDS) - Regional Director, RDSDE JK (UT) and Sh. Sudershan Kumar (JKAS) - Director Skill Development JK (UT) along with other senior officials presented momentos/medals/certificates to the winning team and runner up teams from various ITIs.

Sh S. Santhimanalan (ISDS) - Regional Director, RDSDE JK (UT) advised that more such event should be organized in frequent phases and assured full support in such events in future also.

Principal (Sr. Scale) Govt. ITI Jammu/ Dy. Director SDD - Er. Rajendra Kumar congratulated winning teams and encouraged others to participate more and more in such events.
Vote of thanks was presented by Er. Nazir Ahmed Molvi to all dignitaries, staff, media persons and all directly/indirectly organizing the event.
