ReT Forum Rajouri condemns police action

JAMMU, Dec 28: ReT Forum Rajouri today condemned the lathi charge on teachers in which over ten persons including women sustained injuries when police resorted to cane charge to disperse the agitating 'Rehbar-e-Taleem' (ReT) teachers from taking out a procession leading to the secretariat from outside the Press Club.
 
Provincial General Secretary Manzoor Khan while talking to media persons demanded inclusion of five years of ReT period for seniority and promotional benefits, old pension scheme for ReT teachers before 1-1-2010 and issuance of formal order regarding enhancement of honorarium from Rs 1500 to Rs 3000 per month.
