Assistance to be provided to medal winning games Secy Sports Council

JAMMU, May 30: J&K State Sports Council organized Special Coaching Camps in Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Hockey, Kabaddi, Yoga and Weightlifting concluded at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar,
In which 200 trainees received Special Coaching. The Secretary, Sports Council while concluding the camps informed that purpose of these camps was to improve the standard of games and Sports in the State and also to encourage overall participation of the novices In the Sports and Games. The trainees who received Coaching urged for skilled training in various disciplines including Cricket from the experienced/qualified Coaches of the Council on scientific lines.
The Secretary, Sports Council assured the trainees that for the betterment of Sports and Games, Coaching facilities from the experienced, qualified coaches shall be provided to talented Youth on scientific lines henceforth regularly so that sportspersons will improve their skills and give better performance in future competitions as well.
The Secretary, Sports Council assured the Youth that Sports Council shall provide all sort of help and assistance for the medal winning games and will come forward for the talented Youth. He informed that
draft Sports policy is under active consideration of the Government which provides various incentives to outstanding Sportspersons and better infrastructure facilities.
