Yasin leads protest at Nowhatta

SRINAGAR, Jun 29: Claiming that policy of state government was vague and unclear towards Sainik Colonies and Pandit colonies, separatist leaders today held a peaceful protest demonstration at Nowhata Chowk.
They also demanded release of political prisoners before the Eid.
The protest demonstration was led by JKLF leader Mohammad Yasin Malik. The separatist leaders criticised chief minister Mehbooba Mufti for what they called “changing stances”.
Leaders said that the Mehbooba Mufti has become an official spokesperson of Sangh Parivar in Jammu & Kashmir and she is helping them in every possible ways in the implementation of their communal agendas in Kashmir.
While strongly criticising the ambiguous policy of government regarding the Sainik and Pandit colonies, the pro-freedom leaders said that “we will be forced to launch a mass agitation is the government continue to pursue its anti-people agendas here.”
They demanded release of all the political prisoners including the common youths before the Eid.
