SKCC outplays Media -XI by 94 runs in friendly cricket tie

JAMMU, Feb 18: Sher-E-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) thrashed Media-XI Cricket Club by a big margin of 94 runs in a friendly match played at Phylian Mandal cricket ground.
The match was organized by the Subash Chander former sarpanch of Mandal, Jammu. After winning toss, SKCC choose to bat first and set a target of 246 with the loss of 5 wickets in stipulated 25 overs.
Sachin Manhas scored highest 103 runs in 62 balls while Anmol Manhas scored 72 in 55 balls.
For Media-XI, Desraj took two wickets. Mir Imran, Yash Khajuria and Nitin took one wicket each.
Chasing target, Media-XI bundled at 152 runs and loose the match. Yash Khajuria scored highest 25 runs in 26 balls for the team while Nitin scored 22 runs in 22 balls. From SKCC, Anil took 3 wickets.
Sachin Manhas adjourned as man of the match. Sohan Bharti maintained the scoreboard of the match.
Former minister and senior national conference leader Ajay K Sadhotra was the chief guest during the match while Subash Chander was guest of honour on the occasion.
The guest distributed participation medals and certificates among both teams while winning tropy was presented to SKCC team.
