Ahmedabad drive in cricket club Gujarat register emphatic win

DODA, July 19: Ahmedabad Drive In Cricket Club Gujarat (ADICCG) registered resounding victory against United Cricket Club Poonch (UCCP) by 42 runs and advanced into the next stage of the ongoing All India 13th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2017, being played at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Unit Doda.
Earlier Batting first, ADICC Gujarat made 170 runs for the loss of 07 wickets in alloted 15 overs game. Prem Thakur played a splendid inning of 82 runs from 45 balls for his team, while Jaydev Parmar contributed 35 runs. From UCC Poonch, Anayat Hussain and Imran Malik scalped 03 and 02 wickets respectively.
In reply, UCC Poonch team could not managed to chase the given target and scored only 128 runs in 15 overs for the loss of 04 wickets thus by lost the match by 42 runs. Imran Malik was the highest scorer from UCC Poonch team who made 101 runs from 53 balls while Usman Choudhary scored 17 runs. From ADICC Gujarat, Anand, Sagar Dodiya, Mayur Patel and Ankit Patel shared 01 wicket each.
Later on Imran Malik of United Cricket Club Poonch team was adjudged as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
The match was officiated by Munish Zutshi and Vijay Partab Singh as Umpires, while Milind Gore maintained the scorecard.
