Panchayat Polls: 2nd phase training imparted to 1536 polling staff members in Doda

DODA, Nov 6: In view of Panchayat Elections, around 1536 polling staff members of the District were acquainted with the polling process at Doda, Bhaderwah and Gandoh under the second phase of training programme.
On the second day, the training was imparted to polling parties of blocks Kastigarh, Bhagwah and Doda at community hall Doda. A total of 874 polling staff were trained by Master Trainer, AEE PHE, Fayaz Mehta.
The training for polling parties of Block Bhalla was held at Community Hall Bhaderwah, in the presence of ADC, Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti, where 222 polling staff were imparted training by Master Trainers, AEE I&FC, Maqsood Ahmed and AE, PMGSY, Bhushan Dinish.
The training for polling parties of Block Changa& Chilly Pingal was held at Helipad Gandoh. Around 440 polling staff were imparted training by Master Trainer SDM, GandohDilmir Choudhary.
The polling parties were made aware that it is essential for every polling member to understand his role and responsibilities properly and thereafter they shall perform their duties in a professional and most competent manner for the successful conduct of Panchayat Elections in the district.
They were also advised to go through the Election handbooks for acquiring proper knowledge about the poll process.
The Master Trainers informed that the polling staff is now well versed to conduct the election process to strengthen the Democratic process.
The participants were asked to work in close coordination so that the Panchayat elections in the district would be conducted successfully in a free, fair and transparent manner.
