I&C Dept Ladakh to organise GeM-Samvaad on Jan 7 at Leh

KARGIL, Jan 4: The Department of Industries and Commerce, Union Territory of Ladakh in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India is holding a one day "GeM-Samvaad" on January 7, 2020 at Leh.
"GeM-Samvaad" will be an interaction forum of Government e-Marketplace (GeM) with the buyers (largely Government) and sellers ( Industrialists, suppliers and entrepreneurs from Ladakh), with the aim of integrating sellers on the GeM platform and easing the purchase processes.
The Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Chief Finance Officer of GeM and the Director GeM are scheduled to participate in the GeM Samvaad.
The GeM Samvaad comprising of two sessions will be held at Conference Hall DC Office Leh.
The first session from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM will involve interaction with buyers on GeM including all Drawing and Discussing Officers (DDOs) , District Treasury Officers (DTOs) and Head of Departments (HODs) / District Officers ( prospective buyers on GeM).
The second half from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM will comprise of an interaction with sellers on GeM including commercial organizations, industry bodies, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and entrepreneurs etc.
